What is a Walk Audit?
A walk audit is a community safety review of a street corridor.
Participants walk or bike together along the corridor to identify:
- Safety concerns
- Opportunities for improvement
- Barriers for people walking, biking, or using mobility devices
Feedback gathered during the audit helps guide future design concepts for the street.
Provide Feedback!
What Happens After the Audit?
- Identify safety issues and opportunities
- Develop and evaluate possible roadway striping concepts
- Share those concepts with the public for feedback
- Select a preferred design for implementation in 2027
